Ameraucana Farms grew from our desire to grow food and flowers for our small family of four, but the impact of the current events led us to envision great goals for our community. As we noticed a decrease in food quality and quantity and an increase in food costs in our grocery store, we set out on a high mission to grow, harvest, store, and sell high quality products to our extended community. We hope that this enriches your life as much as it does ours.

On our farm, we believe in the importance of homesteading, sustainable living, organic gardening, and clean eating. We try to live simply and follow natural and organic practices. We practice traditional methods and cultivate homegrown products that are pure and clean for consumers to enjoy without worry of toxic chemicals and artificial ingredients. From the very beginning, starting with the initial stages of planting seeds, bulbs, or birthing livestock, to the meticulous and attentive care they receive throughout their growth cycle until the eventual harvest or sale, every single aspect of our operations is personally tended to with unwavering dedication and commitment.

Currently, our main livestock on the farm are poultry and waterfowl, with a variety of chicken, turkey, duck, and geese breeds carefully selected to create a unique and vibrant flock. The collection of beautifully colorful eggs is a special aspect of our farm, featuring hues of chocolate brown, tan, olive, blue, pink, and white. Some of the favored egg-laying breeds among our chickens are Ameraucana, Marans, Olive Egger, Cream Legbar, Orpington, Rhode Island Red, and Brahma. For ducks, we have Rouen, Harley Quinn, and Indian Runner, while our geese include American Buff and African varieties. Apart from egg and chick production, we also raise Red Ranger chickens, Bourbon Red, Slate, Royal Palm, and Bronze and White Breasted turkeys for harvest. While not certified organic, we prioritize organic feed, organic scratch, and worms for our flock's nourishment, and they have the freedom to pasture range and safely roam in an enclosed run. We refrain from using GMOs, chemicals, or antibiotics and are proud to be a Washington State Certified Egg Handler/Dealer supplying eggs to both private and commercial customers.

At Ameraucana Farms, we take great care in cultivating a diverse selection of flowers, ensuring that every item you buy is sourced locally. Our commitment to organic and sustainable practices means we exclusively use organic soil, compost, and organic and natural fertilizers, steering clear of harmful chemicals or pesticides. Each plant on our farm thrives on nourishing well water, contributing to their vibrant growth. Furthermore, we are proud to champion local farmers and small businesses by sourcing the majority of our seeds, bulbs, fruit trees, and vines from them. This not only strengthens community ties but also guarantees that our products flourish in their native climate.
