Care Tips

Caring for Your Fresh Flower Bouquet

Thank you for supporting our farm! To help your flowers stay fresh and beautiful for as long as possible, follow these simple care tips:

Trim the Stems – Use sharp scissors or garden shears to cut about 1/4 inch off each stem at a 45-degree angle before placing them in water. This helps them absorb water more efficiently.

Fresh, Clean Water – Fill a clean vase with fresh, room-temperature water. Change the water every 1 day to prevent bacteria buildup.

Avoid Direct Sunlight & Heat – Keep your bouquet in a cool area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and fruit (which releases ethylene gas that can shorten flower life).

Remove Fading Blooms – If any flowers begin to wilt, gently remove them to keep the rest of the bouquet fresh longer.

Feed Your Flowers – You can also make a simple homemade version by adding a teaspoon of sugar and a few drops of lemon juice or vinegar to the water.

With proper care, your bouquet will brighten your space for days to come. Enjoy!
